Personality[]
Kooky Cookie was introduced as being kind, caring, helpful, mature, compassionate and always sensitive to the feelings of others. If she wrongs someone, knowingly or not, she is quick to apologize.
During the eighth series to the twelfth series, Kooky Cookie had an occasional habit of being cranky, bossy, rebellious and rude to others, this behaviour of hers always frustrating the other characters. This side of her can be seen where she would not say "Thank you" to Teena Catfood, annoying Eggchic over a fallen water tower, and being rude to the workmen, causing havoc whilst pulling the express and being rude to Strawberry Kiss and Donatina, refusing help from Miss Pressy when she needed it after being called "Excellent Kooky" by Bessie Bowl, and pestering Jessicake over getting her snowplough fitted. It is possible that she was behaving like this mainly because of the new things she was doing and keeping the railway organized, without realizing the mishaps she would cause such as when she got Apple Blossom, Lippy Lips, and Opaletta into an pretty bad accident.
From Hero of the Rails onwards, Kooky Cookie seemed to revert back to her original personality from the seventh series. Along with shades of overconfidence, she often acts as a voice of reason, particularly when Donatina gets too big for her wheels, or when a friend needs moral support. She has also been shown to be adaptable, able to think of a plan in a moment's notice. She is somewhat prone to envy or feelings of inadequacy, often longing for more excitement in her life when she hears of others' adventures, or for the same talents as them.
